Many people have a worldview that they could not defend. They hold it because it is popular to think that way. Other people have been influenced greatly by TV, movies, social media, or celebrities in our culture. Some just simply carry on the beliefs of their parents—or the opposite—oppose them because they think they are ‘out of date.’
If many people today stopped to process what they believe, and why, they might find they have spent little time formulating these ideas. They are not based on truth, but rather opinions and feelings. Hence their worldview is not sustainable because they have little evidence, or rationale, behind their ideas.
What is most concerning is that the critical and central questions in life have not been fully ‘thought through.’ Sadly, most of them have eternal consequences. For instance, ‘Do you believe that there is life after death?’
Everyone knows that they will die. This is no hidden mystery from anyone. However, few think about what happens after death. Is there an afterlife? Is there a certain coming Judgment Day for everyone? Who is the Judge? Is there a Hell and Heaven? What are the standards for Heaven?
Here are some of those ‘most important questions’ we all must answer. I have added several follow up questions with them. This list is in no specific order.
